Christmas and the New Year are upon us once again and there is no better way to celebrate than to relax, take some time off and enjoy the holidays with your family.
Here at Merchant Warrior, we regard our merchants as our extended family and as 2013 draws to a close, we would like to thank you (our merchants) for your support.
In 2013, we made a few (major and minor) strides to ensure we continue to provide you with the best payment solution you can ask for.

There is no better way to start this post than by thanking our merchants for their patience while we prepared this module. We are excited to offer our new PrestaShop module to the public and hope that the PrestaShop team will shortly have it listed in their addons shop for FREE.
The Merchant Warrior PrestaShop Addon supports both the Direct API and Transparent Redirect services and also supports multiple currencies. The Transparent Redirect integration with PrestaShop will ensure that you remain PCI DSS compliant when processing payments from your online store.

Unzip the contents of the zip file into the ‘modules’ directory of your PrestaShop directory and configure the options in your PrestaShop back office as seen in the screenshots below:

CASE STUDY: Play Espresso, Subiaco
As owner-operators of an independent business, Ian and Sharon were genuinely concerned about losing customers to long wait times.
Play began as a small espresso and wine bar near the heart of fashionable Subiaco. A year later, when Ian and Sharon took over, the café had become a bustling central for office staff in the area. Each train and bus would deliver a crowd eager for breakfast and morning coffee.
Business was good and growing beyond that which Play could accommodate. Customers would often leave at the sight of a queue rapidly amassing. We approached Play with mypreorder, which let their customers order ahead and pay in advance. This meant Play could prepare the order before arrival, saving time for everyone – even customers who didn’t pre-order, as transactions could happen much faster. Ian, Sharon and their staff decide how much of their menu to feature, with the ability to upsell, combine and promote more items as desired – and noticed an increase in the average order size per customer using the mypreorder system.
No queues, shorter queues and more efficient service has allowed Play to retain the customers they have as well as attract new customers who enjoy how easy it is to grab a bite. Sales to newcomers alone have paid for the system several times over.

It is always a nice feeling to release a new payment solution to the public that we have had in beta for a few months. The MW Phone Payments will enable you to accept credit card payments from your customers via phone. It is as simple as placing a biller id and reference number (or invoice number) on a bill and/or letter accompanied by a telephone number that your customer should call to pay their bill.
Merchant Warrior grants you FREE access to 1300 321 PAY and 1800 321 PAY phone words or alternatively you can provide your own 13, 1300 or 1800 number.
As with many other IVR systems you will NOT be required to wait for an emailed report of all phone payments before updating your billing system. The MW Phone Payments platform issues real-time notifications when transactions are processed and in doing so will allow you to update your billing system the second a transaction is processed.
The most exciting part of our announcement today is that our IVR platform also enables you to accept Token Payments from your customers. Your customers will have a choice of entering their credit card details or a Token ID to pay a phone bill. This feature significantly reduces the time that your customer has to spend keying in numbers into their phone and provides a PCI DSS compliant solution for accepting payments via telephone.
