eWAY is Australia’s foremost payment gateway. Established in 1998, we have gradually extended the scope of our merchant services to include 15,000 merchants today. We understand that all of our merchants have differing levels of understanding of ecommerce and the different merchant services out there. From the confusing language to the intricacies of development, there is a lot to take in. There are several things you'll need, along with your Internet Merchant Facility, before you can start taking payments. This is why we have dedicated Success Managers ready to answer all your questions.

eWAY enables its merchants to accept payments in a variety of ways, because we understand that for merchant services, flexibility is vital. Manual payments enables you to accept payments over-the-phone, in person, by fax, or any other way in which the customer’s credit cardinformation can be conveyed to you (skywriting, maybe? Although in that case even our encrypted servers would struggle to keep the information a secret...). With manual payments, all you need to do is enter the billing information on MYeWAY. Our mobile application is an extension of this service, letting you check up on your sales and process payments when you’re not at your desk.

eWAY's Rapid 3.1 API includes Responsive Hosted Payments, redirecting customers to a hosted payment page displaying a custom theme and responsive design to cater for the particular device used by each customer. Merchants have complete control over the look and feel of the payment pages while reducing the scope for PCI DSS compliance with all credit card data capture on the eWAY-hosted page.
